Hillary Lindauer: Hillary Lindauer, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, is currently the Executive Director of the Family Counseling Center. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1988 with a Master's Degree in Counseling and obtained her California license in 1996. She has over 20 years experience working with families, individuals, and children. Hillary is experienced in using play therapy with children and specializes in treating children with abuse issues. She also frequently works with men and women who have been abused as children. Hillary has completed training in EMDR and uses it to help adults and children with trauma issues.
Mary Mosbacher: Mary Mosbacher is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Director at the Family Counseling Center. She graduated from CSU Chico with a master’s degree in counseling and taught group therapy there for two years. She has over 15 years of experience in counseling families, couples, individuals, and teens. She is experienced in the use of EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Guided Imagery, and Schema Therapy. She works with clients on a variety of issues such as PTSD/Trauma, Panic/Anxiety disorder, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Men’s issues, and Women’s Issues. Her side passion is Group Therapy and she loves educating clients in Nutritional Psychology.
Janet Giles: Janet is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of counseling experience. Janet works with children, adolescents, and adults. She is trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and has worked with individuals and families in community mental health settings. She has also worked as an adjunct instructor at National University in the Psychology Department.
Beverly Mantych: Beverly earned her Masters in counseling in 2008 from National University and is currently a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. She worked as a Victim Witness Advocate for seven years and has worked at the Community Counseling Program for over two years. Beverly especially enjoys working with couples, adolescents, families, and trauma survivors.
Ariel Yarbrough: Ariel Yarbrough is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. She earned her BA in Psychology at Trinity College in Chicago, IL and her MA at Simpson University in Redding, CA. She has worked in several settings including foster care, group home, pre-school, and transitional living. Ariel is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy/Sand Tray, Family Functional Therapy, EMDR, and has worked with a wide variety of diagnoses. Ariel has completed Level 1 of the Gottman Method couples therapy and has also received training working with military families. She works with couples (pre-marital, co-parenting, marital problems, etc), families, elderly, children, LGBT and teens. In her free time, Ariel loves spending time with her puppy and husband.
Jovita Ibarra Garcia: Jovita graduated from Simpson University with a Masters in Counseling and is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. As a wife and mother of two, she understands the benefits of a healthy family environment. She uses research-based interventions and Christian values in her counseling, focusing on building interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills. As a bi-lingual therapist, she offers services in both English and Spanish. As a Mexican-American, she brings an understanding of this culture's dynamics. Her mission in her work is to strengthen communities by bringing hope to individuals, couples, and families by helping them in creating the best version of themselves. Jovita has completed Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method couples therapy, and uses this in her therapy work.
Barbara Sowle: Barbara Sowle is a professional clinical counselor intern. She graduated from Argosy University, Seattle in Clinical Psychology. Barbara previously lived in New Hampshire where she was a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She enjoys working with teens, young adults, and couples. Barbara uses a combination of methods such as cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and psychosomatic therapy. She focuses on understanding her client (individual, couple or family) as a whole, acknowledging how they operate and view the world. Through collaboration with the client, they are able to recognizes patterns, determines core issues, and formulates constructive solutions together.
Cindy Mejia: Cindy Mejia is one of our Administrative Assistant, daytime receptionist Monday through Thursday 9- 2 pm. She is in charge of clerical responsibilities to help keep the office running smoothly. You can always count on a big smile from Cindy, as she is determined to make our clients happy and comfortable.
Bianca Williams: Bianca is our independently contracted medical biller and does all our third party billing.

ABOUT US

Ben Nichols: Ben works in the front office on most evenings and weekends. He takes on many technical and clerical responsibilities to help keep the office running smoothly.
Norma Montelongo: Norma is our Intake Specialist and daytime receptionist. Among Norma's many talents, she provides bilingual services to our clients and is FCC's current Safety Captain. You can always count on a big smile form Norma, as she is determined to make our clients happy and comfortable.
Jennifer Knowlton: Jennifer is is our office manager and is here Monday through Friday, 9 to 3. She helps keep everything running smoothly. Her goal is to help our clients feel welcome and ensure clients receive good customer service here at FCC.
