CONFIDENTIALITY

Confidentiality is the protection of personal information and restricts the disclosure of client information to authorized office staff and clinicians, the only persons who have access to client records. Confidentiality laws are strictly followed by all Family Counseling Center counselors and staff. Except for a few instances required by law, therapists cannot disclose personal information about a client or even the fact that someone is in counseling without the client's written permission. If you would like to begin counseling at Family Counseling Center, the first step is to do an intake by phone or in person.We do not do intakes by e-mail for privacy and security reasons.

NEW CLIENTS If you would like to begin counseling at Family Counseling Center, the first step is to do an intake, which can be done by phone or in person. We do not do intakes by e-mail for privacy and security reasons. For individuals requesting counseling who are 18 years old or older, we need to speak to the client directly. For minor children, we need to speak to a legal guardian. There are three ways to do an intake: 1) Call our office at (530) 527-6702 2) Come to our main office, located at 1112 Washington Street in Red Bluff 3) Set up a time for us to call you back to do an intake. This can be done by either of the above methods or by sending an e-mail to info@fccredbluff.org
