After spending the first few years of her career working in technology transfer in higher education, she shifted her focus to freelancing writing and editing. Brian Miller is a secondary principal and blogger (millerbrian.com) currently living in Fort Benton, Montana. He has taught 7-12 English for 10+ years throughout the country and world. He has presented at teacher conferences in Thailand, China, Wyoming, and Montana on topics such as curriculum development, teaching strategies, and character development. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Educational Leadership through the University of Montana.

Catherine Dorian lived and taught in rural Montana for four years, where she embraced writing as a means of finding connection in an isolated setting. She has published several academic articles about English education and presented at state and national conferences. A native of Massachusetts and the Adirondacks, Catherine recently taught at Brattleboro Union High School in Vermont where she served on the school’s literary magazine, The Dial. Jon Konen, District Superintendent – Jon Konen is a superintendent and freelance writer in Corvallis, Montana. He has taught most all grade levels K-6, and has been an elementary, middle, and high school principal.

As a 5th grade teacher, in 2010 he won the Presidential Award for Elementary Math and Science Teaching (PAEMST). As a principal, his school won the 2012 Blue Ribbon Award. In 2018, he won the National Distinguished Principal Award (NDP). In 2019 he won the National No Kid Hungry Breakfast Hero Award.

He is the author of numerous online guides and blogs, and even authored a children’s picture book that was released January 2019 titled Benjamin’s Visit to Principal Reads Office…again! (available at www.archwaypublishing.com)
